Paul and I (Catherine) uploaded some more content onto the BBC Learning English area this morning (Wednesday) and practised using the software. 

Paul was at his house and I was at mine - so we spoke on the phone while we both logged on to our PCs and experimented with the various features of Elluminate.  It seemed like a good way to get used to the 'remoteness'...

It all seems fairly intuitive and we are impressed with the range of things we can do... powerpoint, audio, voting etc... but since we are both using the system for the first time, we're going to have another rehearsal before our presentation on Friday.  We're looking forward to it!
