Hi Folks,
I hope you have been enjoying the convergence. It has been a wildly mixed experience ranging from scrupulously prepared powerpoints and multimedia events to Robin Good's wild keynote ride through the streets of Rome into the pre-dawn to Elder Bob and Michael Coghlan's unconferernce offerings at http://knowplace.ca, and to many other presentations besides, filling out a distributed collaboration network perhaps best mapped in the diagrams shown us by George Siemens and Andy Pincon.
It is too late at night to recap more fully, and I am writing this while listening to Anne Fox before heading for bed to resume tomorrow, our final day of Webheads convergence.
I hope you are benefiting from the experience, learning from colleagues, and extending your productive and inspirational network. We know that what we have organized might appear chaotic, but we hope you are able to find just-in-time help via the chat rooms at http://www.tappedin.org and http://www.webheadsinaction.org.
I am doing my best to update the calendar at http://schedule.wiaoc.org, and hope presenters are keeping their records in the webheadsinaction.org calendar updated as well. I hope you are finding the recordings via the links indicated at http://www.schedule.wiaoc.org. Alado recordings are not listed there, nor DiscoverE / Interwise, but we hope to find a mechanism for posting those shortly.
If you have any suggestions for the last day please let us hear them. I'm sure we have not laid out things perfectly but I hope that through our mutual efforts we are broadening everyone's horizons and increasing awareness of what is possible with the most ordinary, and also extraordinary, hardware devices and Web 2.0 tools.
So many have been involved in putting this together, I'd like to thank them all, and especially to our presenters who have given their time to share with us, and hopefully have benefited in return.
I look forward to more interaction on the last day, and if you have comments please note them in our forums or start your own.
Also note that each presentation in the calendar has a comment space attached to it, and some presenters have linked to forum nodes as well.
Best
Vance
