Otago Polytechnic has initiated a traveling open space conference called The Future of Learning in a Networked World. 10 international speakers will get together in Dunedin on September 18 and travel to participating institutions to discuss this topic with local audiences. This event coincides with the annual meeting of the Teach and Learn Online network being in Dunedin on September 18, and eFest being held in Wellington September 27. Between these dates the group will travel to participating institutions, continuing the discussions, recording, blogging and publishing ideas and models along the way.
The tour and conference will finish at eFest with several proposals and manifestos anticipated and could be delivered in a panel type environment to eFest audiences.
